Citizen Conan (=Fishing Eyes Police) is developed and jointly operated by National Police University Public Safety Policy Research Institute and Infiniguru Co., Ltd..It is the only ‘voice phishing public-private joint response network service’ in Korea that prevents voice phishing.Citizen Conan is a malicious app instantaneous detector developed at the request of front-line police officers to detect malicious apps used in voice phishing, and is the same app as the former Fishing Eyes Police.Citizen Conan detects apps used for voice phishing, such as malicious apps and remote control apps, and Phishing Eyes detects malicious apps, remote control apps, smishing, and phishing related to all fraudulent processes of voice phishing.
It includes most detection functions such as ‘calling with a criminal’, ‘malicious IP/URL detection’, and ‘KakaoTalk impersonation detection’ and is provided differently depending on the version.
Fishing Eyes works together with financial companies to prevent phishers five major deceptive actions (malicious apps, remote control apps, text messages, KakaoTalk, calls) and five major extortion channels (APP, WEB, ARS, ATM, and counters).We recommend that customers who want comprehensive voice phishing prevention install the Fishing Eyes app.
